Advanced First Aid - Standard Level 3
.
Dynacare’s Advanced First Aid - Standard Level Three course offers a more in depth look at First Aid within the workplace and in everyday life and offers your staff the opportunity to put their valuable skills to practice to ensure that they gain the required confidence to effectively take charge of an emergency situation. This course is ideal for team leaders, supervisors and health & safety officers.

This 40 hour course will revise the skills learnt in Level One, will develop each learner to deal with more involved injuries and illness in the workplace, as well as multiple casualties and to effectively lead a first aid team.

Course Objectives:
To facilitate the learning of life-saving skills that can be used in the work environment and to ensure that each learner has both the skill and confidence to be able to assist the injured in an emergency situation, within the work environment.

Target Group:
This course is aimed at supervisors, team leaders and safety officers within an organisation, but is open to any person meeting the minimum requirements.

Course Content:
Basic First Aid, Emergency Level One Course contents PLUS
-  Child & Infant Resuscitation. (A.R, Choking & CPR)
-  Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training

-  Pelvic Injuries.
-  Chest Injuries.
-  Environmental Injuries & Illnesses.
-  Poisons, Bites & Stings.
-  Bone & Joint Injuries II. (Incl. Femur Fractures)
-  Multiple Casualty Management & Rescue Carries.
-  Emergency Childbirth.
-  Managing Different Casualties. 
-  Basic Anatomy & Physiology.

Minimum Participants:
For on-site training, a minimum of six candidates is required. For off-site training, please enquire about our facilities and public course dates.

Included with the Course:
Each learner will receive a comprehensive first aid student pack which includes a manual and an anti-AIDS protection key-ring. On successful completion of the course each learner will receive a certificate valid for 3 years.

Please Note: The duration and price of this course can be reduced if candidates are in possession of a VALID Level
2 certificate, approved by the Department of Labour.
