| What
is a good course facilitator? |
|
| At
Dynacare, we believe that a good first aid course facilitators
have the folowing competencies. They ... |
| . |
|
Are
passionate and have the ability to transferring
knowledge. |
|
There
is nothing worse than sitting in a class, behind a well
written course manual and a set of well-designed videos when
it seems as if the course facilitator would prefer doing
something else rather than teaching the class. Our
courses facilitators enjoy what they do best, facilitate
courses - which means that we use quality manuals and
videos to add to our classroom activities and not to run
them. |
| . |
|
Have
focussed experience: |
|
Every
classroom needs a subject matter expert to help guide
participants. In our case, all of our course facilitators are
subject matter experts in their particular fields. In most cases, these
professionals have be exposed to years of experience in the
emergency medical services, which is of course and additional
benefit to the classroom. However, you can be assured that in
a Dynacare First Aid course you will be exposed to vital
information that you can use to provide first aid to
someone in need. Spending hours in a classroom listening to a
medics "experience" stories might be exciting, but
it just wont help you in the real world! |
| . |
|
Are
patient and have friendly dispositions: |
| . |
You
might not believe that patience is a skill. Let our course
facilitators prove to you that we are there to help you learn
an important, life-saving skill, no matter what it takes. Our
course facilitators go the extra mile to make sure that you
can achieve every requirement of your course. |
| . |
|
Are
un-biased and work towards results. |
|
Although
our course structures and facilitators are in a position to
help guide learners towards meeting the course objectives,
each learner has a responsibility to learn. Our course
facilitators are the first to ensure that assistance is given
and extra time is spent on skills that need practice, however
assessments are carried out in a structured and professional
manner which ensures that only learners who meet requirements
are given certification. Those who do not make requirements
are guided and further developed to prepare for
reassessment. |
| . |
| In
conclusion, first aid is a skill that everyone should know, it
is not knowledge that everyone should "experience"
Dynacare course faciitators will also do their best to achieve
great outcomes which will better the chances of you being able
to DO something during an emergency situation. |
